Trzaskowski’s campaign is focusing on uniting centrist and progressive voters to build a broad coalition capable of defeating his main rivals: Karol Nawrocki, backed by the conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, and Sławomir Mentzen of the far-right Confederation. His strategy includes nationwide rallies, town hall meetings, and media appearances aimed at mobilizing supporters and appealing to undecided voters.
Policy Platform
Trzaskowski’s “Plan for Poland” encompasses five key areas:
1. Central Industrial District: Aiming to revitalize Poland’s industrial sector through innovation and investment.
2. Security Pact: Proposes increasing defense spending to 5% of GDP, establishing a National Security Council with cross-party representation, and investing in domestic defense industries.
3. Economic Patriotism: Focuses on supporting Polish entrepreneurs and ensuring fair competition.
4. Social Common Sense: Advocates for pragmatic solutions to social issues, including healthcare and education reforms.
5. Presidential Investment Fund: Plans to create a fund to support strategic national projects.
Additionally, Trzaskowski has pledged to sign legislation allowing over-the-counter access to emergency contraception, recognize Silesian as a regional language, and reform the Constitutional Tribunal to enhance judicial independence. He also supports liberalizing abortion laws, emphasizing women’s rights to make decisions about their health .

First Round: Trzaskowski leads with 35.3% of the vote, followed by Nawrocki at 22.1%, and Mentzen at 13.2% .
