It stated: “A ground engineer was killed after being ingested in the engine of a Varash Airlines 737 at Chabahar Konarak Airport in Iran. The event occurred on July 2 while the 737-500 was undergoing maintenance and the right engine was running. It has been stated that the engineer entered the safety zone to get some tools.
