The Canaries released the new kit via their social media channels on Friday morning after building up to its release over the 24 hours prior to its release. City fan Jake Humphrey and TikTok creator Joe Leggett appeared in the unveiling video.

A 90s-inspired shirt, it features a weave pattern on the collar and cuff trim. Striker Ante Crnac and a host of the women’s squad featured in the photography released by the club.

The shirt is a modern twist to the kit that City wore between 1994-96, with a collar being used for the first time since 2017/18.

City will give the shirt its first outing in their opening pre-season friendly against Northampton Town at Colney on Saturday, July 12. Liam Manning’s side will adorn the shirt throughout their Championship campaign. It’s first competitive outing will come at Carrow Road on the opening day against Millwall.

Norwich have also unveiled all three goalkeepers’ shirts for the new campaign, with them alternating depending on the opponent. These have been described as ‘aster purple, bold orange and pastel mint green’ in colour.

Shirts are priced at £65 for adults and £48 for juniors, with a long-sleeve version costing £70. They are available to buy from City’s online and retail outlets now.

The shirt continues with the Norfolk clothing brand Blakely as primary shirt whilst Green Light Consulting Group, announced as the new back of shirt sponsor earlier this week, taking their place on the shirt for the first time.

City’s women side will also wear the new kit – with Blakely’s sponsorship extending to Andy Cook’s side as they attempt to win promotion from the fourth tier this season.
