Consumers are voting with their wallets and some of America’s best-known food brands are losing. In the latest company earnings reports, coffee drinkers are leaving Starbucks’s loyalty program. Chips Ahoy cookies are lingering longer on grocery-store shelves. Fewer customers are ordering at fast-food drive-through and kiosks, pressuring companies such as Wendy’s and Mcdonald’s. Prices for goods from burgers to mayonnaise are still far more expensive than they used to be.

American Airlines honors those who are serving and those who’ve served, including the more than 11,800 American team members who are veterans or currently serving in the national guard or reserves, as part of military appreciation month. American offers a robust network of support for service members and veterans through its partner programs and offers generous benefits to service members and their families when traveling.
