Actress Accuses WestJet Of Dehumanizing Behavior During Flight To Los Angeles
That’s not the only change; automatic refunds have been issued just before the holidays for canceled flights, avoiding the dreaded paper work process from the past.
Unfortunately, not all of the problems have been resolved. A recent WestJet passenger shared her forgettable experience on a flight back home to Los Angeles. The passenger claims she was cussed at by a passenger seated in back of her, while she was disregarded and threatened by the WestJet staff.
Let’s take a closer look at how it all unfolded.

A WestJet Passenger Documented Her Problematic Flight To Los Angeles
Boarding a flight from Winnipeg back home to Los Angeles, Charlet Chung documented her experience on both TikTok and Instagram. Chung claims she was “threatened to be off-boarded and arrested 3 times,” during an incident with another passenger. Chung claims it all started after the passenger seated in the back of her repeatedly hit her
After confronting the passenger, Chung was “cursed” at by the older man.
“During boarding, the man you see in the video was continuously hitting and pushing my seat for over 20 min,” she said on Instagram.
Following the incident with the passenger, she was then isolated by the WestJet crew to a different seat at the front of the plane
Chung wrote on Instagram , “What ensues for the next 4.5 hours was me being forced to move seats, then being isolated and harassed for the entire duration of this horrific flight. In almost 200 flights I’ve taken in the past 8 years, this Westjet crew and 2 passengers put me through the most distressing, dehumanizing experience I’ve ever had on a plane.”
